The police series Lies features Julie Beauchemin and Maxime Moreli, two investigators specializing in interrogation. Their way of doing things allows them to solve cases that necessarily require intelligence and tact.

In parallel to the police intrigues, the series tells the story of these two specialists of lies who, in the course of their investigations, will also discover, probe and expose the lies hidden at the heart of their personal lives.

Synopsis

Four years after the end of Season 3, Julie is now the leader of the Catharsis Squad, which investigates unsolved murders by developing psychological traps to get confessions from murderers. Working on several cases, Julie begins to believe that she is dealing with a serial murderer who is mimicking the murders of other murderers to conceal his identity.  To solve this complex investigation, Julie contacts Maxime again to team up with her. Bob, who is head of the Homicide Squad, discovers that he is working on the same case as Julie. They will all have to work together to catch this elusive murderer.
