Synopsis

The inhabitants of Sainte-Adèle are outraged at Seraphim's cruel methods.  After the announcement of new austerity measures, the village rises and elections are held. Who would become the new mayor? Alexis, Jérôme and Jos Malterre are in the running to dislodge Séraphin. Donalda wants her marriage to succeed at all costs. Will she confess to Seraphin that she is pregnant with Alexis? Will she succeed in obtaining the custody of Siffleux? In debt, Bidou seduces Rosa-Rose, but a surprise arrival could disrupt the new couple's wedding plans.
There is a fierce fight for the post office and an unusual competition is launched! Will Jos and Caroline manage to carve out a respectable place for themselves in the village? Doctor Jerome is in love again, will his new flame please Angelique?
Logging companies clear the land of Saint-Adèle: Father Labelle and Arthur Buies decide to declare war on them.  The duo risks big and Monseigneur Fabre gets involved!  Will the villagers suffer the consequences? 
Siffleux holds Seraphin guilty of his father's murder. The corpse has been fished out of the water and Siffleux has only one thing on his mind: revenge! Will he succeed?
