Crime stories takes us into the murky land of the suburbs where one dirty trick always deserves another. It depicts the lives of smalltime criminals well on their way down the slippery slope. We gradually enter the inevitable game of cat and mouse between cops and criminals. A game that no one ever emerges from unscathed.

Synopsis

An Italian cook is simply making pasta when a masked gunman bursts into Caffè Firenze, one of the rallying points of the Italian mafia in the Northern Crown. The godfather's nephew falls under the bullets. The main witness of the scene is a member of the Lauzon criminal clan, whose chief Maurice mysteriously disappears the same evening... Is it a coincidence?

The first rumors feed the hypothesis that the young Italian is the victim of a clan war between the Lauzons and the Italians. The two criminal organizations are fighting to keep an important contract for the construction of a new synagogue ordered by the Hasidic Jewish community. But this is not the case. That morning someone else was supposed to die, but who?

To add fuel to the fire, Maurice Lauzon, who mysteriously disappeared, had been attending a naturist camp for years, which curiously, is located right next to the Hasidic summer camp. Only the owners of the naturist camp Le Paradis terrestre think they hold the truth.

To shed light on these new facts, Constance will obviously be accompanied by her entire team: Jonas, her faithful sidekick; Fred Bérubé, her boss and new partner; the "belly" club, or at least what is left of it; not forgetting the detestable Antoine Chevrier-Marseau, Montreal's major crime investigator. The cat-and-mouse game between the police and the poor criminals continues...
